Summary

Cassel Bear is looking for a Project Manager who thrives on structure, clarity, and forward momentum. This role is critical to helping our creative, digital, and strategy teams do their best work,  on time, on budget, and without unnecessary friction.

You’ll be responsible for translating strategy into executable plans, managing timelines and resources, and ensuring work moves smoothly through our system. If you enjoy organizing complexity, building repeatable processes, and keeping smart people aligned, this role will feel like home.

  • Own the day-to-day management of client and internal projects
  • Build and maintain project plans, timelines, and task dependencies
  • Ensure work is clearly scoped, assigned, and scheduled
  • Identify risks early and proactively adjust plans to keep projects on track

Workflow Management

  • Use our Project Management Software as the single source of truth for project status, priorities, and documentation
  • Create, manage, and improve task structures, templates, and workflows within our project management tool
  • Ensure tasks are properly documented, assigned, and updated

Communication & Coordination

  • Act as the central point of coordination between design, digital, content, and leadership
  • Run internal check-ins and status updates as needed
  • Communicate clearly and calmly when timelines shift or priorities change
  • Translate high-level goals into clear next steps for the team

Resource & Capacity Planning

  • Help manage workloads across the team to avoid bottlenecks
  • Flag capacity issues before they become problems
  • Balance urgency, quality, and realistic delivery timelines

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies in how work flows through the agency
  • Help document processes and improve repeatability
  • Support scaling efforts as Cassel Bear continues to grow

The Kind of Person We’re Looking For

You’re someone who:

  • Is naturally organized and detail-oriented
  • Thinks in timelines, dependencies, and priorities
  • Is calm under pressure and steady when things get busy
  • Can hold people accountable without being heavy-handed
  • Communicates clearly with creatives, strategists, and leadership
  • Enjoys improving systems, not just maintaining them
  • Is proactive, dependable, and trusted by teammates

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager (agency or fast-paced environment preferred)
  • Experience managing multiple projects at once
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create structure without slowing teams down
  • Ability to use a computer and software to Project Manage

Extra Credit

  • Experience in a creative, digital, or marketing agency
  • Experience using ClickUp (our Project Management Tool)
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams
  • Client-facing project coordination experience

Why This Role Matters

As Cassel Bear grows, clarity and execution become just as important as creativity. This role ensures that great ideas don’t get stuck in chaos, they get shipped.

The right Project Manager will have real influence on how the agency operates and scales, and will be a key partner to leadership and the delivery teams.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation based on experience. This position is contract/full-time or full-time. We offer our team members competitive salary, work/life harmony, vacation, sick, paid holidays, health benefits, and retirement plan.
