Web Designer / Front-End Developer

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a full-time Web Designer/Front-end Developer who is passionate about their craft and positive in their interaction with others. The ideal candidate will embody creativity and a problem-solver’s mentality, with the ability to engage audiences through digital storytelling and communicate a client’s brand across different digital platforms.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive websites for clients of our agency

• Ability to concept and create UI designs for mobile, tablet and desktop
• Collaborate and execute sitemaps, user flows, digital prototypes and wireframes
• Maintain a client’s brand aesthetic across digital channels
• Design digital assets such as banners, display ads, infographics, etc.
• Understand and work within project requirements, usability standards, technical requirements, budget, and schedule constraints
• Work collaboratively with the entire team

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Skill Requirements:

• Portfolio that shows the ability to create on trend websites
• Ability to take complex problems and solve them with a creative-thinking approach
• Seek out and respond well to feedback and direction from others
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to completion
• Ability to effectively communicate concepts and ideas to others
• A strong understanding of UX best practices and fundamental UI principles
• Proficient in Figma, Sketch, and Adobe CC
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
• An understanding of WCAG 2.0 guidelines

Additional Skills (a plus but not required):

• Skill using Webflow, WordPress/Elementor, and Drupal

• Knowledge of SEO techniques

• Experience with email tools (e.g., Klaviyo, HubSpot, MailChimp, Constant Contact)

• jQuery, Javascript, PHP familiarity

• Experience working in Git

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (Web Design, Graphic Design, Visual Design) or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency

• 3–5 years of web design experience, with a strong portfolio of digital work

• Agency experience is a plus
