In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility.
Chelsea West hails from Holmes County, Ohio and loves the culture and close-knit community of the area she calls home. Chelsea enjoys working with people and embraces opportunities to gain new acquaintances and experiences. She brings nearly a decade of experience from the non-profit sector serving others and organizing projects and events. Her multi-colored Post-It notes, pens, and YETI tumbler are never far from reach.
On the homefront, Chelsea and her husband keep busy fixing up their fixer-upper in Sugarcreek (a great relationship building activity) and taking care of two embarrassingly spoiled Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. They also do quite a bit of traveling with their families, seeing new places, trying new things, and finding new favorites.
In her spare time, Chelsea is heavily involved in the disaster relief organization, Eight Days of Hope and is grateful for the opportunity to use her abilities to help others. An enthusiastic learner, she’s obsessed with trivia, random facts, and absorbing knowledge podcasts, shows, and documentaries. Chelsea also loves to cook, bake, and craft. She describes her DIY upcycling and decor endeavors as a neatly organized boneyard of partially completed projects and supplies. She also has a soft spot for office supply stores and, admittedly, could spend way too much time perusing the colorful aisles of organization tools.
What Chelsea rocks: Organizing and perfecting things, finding, solving, anticipating, and preventing problems. Game nights featuring puzzles and strategy games. Picking, polishing, and upcycling antique and thrift store finds in order to turn something old into something new.
